River Raisin Models is excited to announce an expansion of our series of Southern Pacific steam locomotives. Continue to build your SP steam roster with MT-4 and MT-5 Mountains (4-8-2) in S scale. Our builder, Boo Rim Precision, is ready to begin the drawings once we have received enough reservations. Our current plan calls for several different numbers of each version, and our models will feature both the freight and Daylight paint schemes. River Raisin Models will be importing these models at the end of 2009 or early 2010. These models will include the features and quality that you have grown to expect from River Raisin Models, including a 9 pin DCC wiring harness. Milwaukee Road Rib-sided Cabooses
in two versions, in S scale and hi-rail brass

No caboose on any railroad was more identifiable with the railroad that built them than the Milwaukee Road’s  “rib-siders”.  The road’s welded, rib-sided construction built by the craftsmen of the Milwaukee Shops, proved to be lighter yet stronger than the more typical construction methods. Between 1939 and 1951, Milwaukee built 315 bay-window, rib-sided cabooses. Seven different varieties of the “rib-siders” were built over the years with modifications and improvements added to the design.  River Raisin has built two of the versions that operated during the entire time period these cabooses ran. Deposits are now due for this outstanding locomotive in S. We will be making a decision on this project soon, but we are short of the needed reservations to proceed at this time. The Norfolk & Western "J Class" 4-8-4, the finest steam passenger locomotive ever built!

We are proud to offer these steam locomtives in two different versions. We will build these locomotives in scale and hi-rail DC, if sufficient reservations are received. The hi-rail models will be built with two middle blind drivers. These models will include the features and quality you have grown to expect from River Raisin Models, and they will be expertly built by the master craftmen at Boo Rim Precision.
